This Privacy Policy explains how the Dead by Queue Discord Bot ("the Bot", "we", "us", or "our") processes information when it is installed in a Discord server or used by a Discord account. We follow a data-minimisation approach: we store only the information described below that is needed for configuration, operation, and abuse prevention.

2. Anonymous Killer Behavior Data

Dead by Queue may store aggregate killer behavior totals separately in dbd_killer_behavior.json. These totals are maintained without Discord IDs, Steam IDs, usernames, or an identifier that points to an individual match. The purpose is to maintain aggregate Dead by Daylight killer behavior statistics without attaching those totals to an individual Discord or Steam identity.

• Chat messages or message content.
• Interaction history, command transcripts, or conversation history.
• Discord user profiles beyond the limited identifier needed for anti-abuse usage counting.
• Personal information such as real names, home addresses, payment card details, or private conversations.
• Individual-match identity in the anonymous killer behavior totals.

4. Why we use the stored data

Server configuration data is used to remember how the Bot should behave in each server. Command-use counts are used to protect the Bot against spam and abuse and, where necessary, to support an automatic blacklist or rate-limiting decision. Anonymous killer behavior totals are used only for aggregate statistics.

5. Discord API data

Discord may provide data to applications through its API according to the permissions and access available to the Bot. Our Bot only stores the categories described in this policy and does not use Discord API data for unrelated purposes. Discord's own handling of your information is governed by Discord's policies, which are separate from this policy.

6. Third-party services

The Bot may request publicly available queue information from deadbyqueue.com to provide its queue-related features. We do not intentionally transmit the stored Discord user identifiers or server configuration to that website solely to obtain queue estimates.

7. Retention and deletion

Stored server settings and anti-abuse usage data are retained only for as long as they are needed to provide the Bot, maintain configured features, and protect the service from abuse. Anonymous aggregate killer behavior totals may remain stored because they are not linked to Discord IDs, Steam IDs, usernames, or individual match identity.

You may contact us to request deletion of personal data that we control. Where applicable, we will handle requests in accordance with our legal obligations and Discord's developer requirements.

For privacy, access, correction, or deletion questions concerning data held by the Bot, contact the developer at .ashley.x or spotify.balkan_business@yahoo.com. Please do not send passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information in a privacy request.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we store. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but the Bot is designed to minimise stored data and avoid retaining chat or interaction histories.

10. Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Bot's data practices or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a material revision is made.

By inviting, installing, or using the Dead by Queue Discord Bot ("the Bot"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot or keep it installed in your Discord server.

1. Use of the Bot

The Bot is provided as a utility for Discord communities, including queue-related information and other features described by the Bot at the time of use. Features may change, be removed, or be replaced without notice.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Spam, flood, or intentionally overload the Bot or its endpoints.
• Use automation, scripts, or other methods to abuse commands or evade reasonable rate limits.
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Bot, its infrastructure, or connected services.
• Use the Bot for unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, or harmful purposes.
• Use the Bot in a manner that violates Discord's applicable Terms, Developer Policy, or other platform rules.

3. Anti-spam and automatic restrictions

To protect the Bot and other users, we may monitor limited command-usage counts. Excessive command use or abusive behaviour may result in rate limiting, temporary restrictions, or an automatic blacklist. These controls are intended for service protection and are not a record of chat or interaction history.

4. Service availability

• As-is service: The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Third-party data: Queue estimates and other external information may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate.
• Downtime: The Bot may experience maintenance, outages, API limits, provider issues, or other interruptions.

5. Third-party services and links

The Bot can depend on services operated by third parties, including Discord and external queue-data services. We do not control the policies, availability, or accuracy of third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Intellectual property

Dead by Queue's original website, code, branding, and materials remain the property of their respective owners unless otherwise stated. Dead by Queue does not claim ownership of Behaviour Interactive's, Dead by Daylight's, Discord's, Steam's, or other third parties' trademarks, game content, or intellectual property.

7. Behaviour Interactive / Dead by Daylight disclaimer

Dead by Queue is not an official Dead by Daylight service. Nothing on this website or in the Bot should be interpreted as an endorsement or partnership with Behaviour Interactive. Users remain responsible for complying with any applicable Dead by Daylight rules, terms, and policies.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Bot developer is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Bot or third-party data accessed through it.

9. Termination and blocking

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for a user or server when necessary to prevent abuse, protect the service, respond to violations of these Terms, comply with legal requirements, or comply with platform requirements.

10. Discord requirements

Your use of the Bot remains subject to Discord's applicable Terms of Service, Developer Terms of Service, Developer Policy, and other platform requirements. If a conflict exists between these Terms and Discord's requirements, the applicable Discord requirements control the use of Discord's platform and API.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when the Bot, its features, or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
