This Privacy Policy explains how the Dead by Queue Discord Bot ("the Bot", "we", "us") handles user data when added to Discord servers or used by Discord accounts.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. When you interact with the Bot via slash commands (e.g., /queue), the following temporary data is processed in real-time:

• Command Interactions: Discord User IDs and Guild (Server) IDs required by Discord's API to process and respond to interactions.
• Selected Command Options: The region parameter selected during command execution.

2. Information We DO NOT Collect or Store

• We do not store persistent user data in any external database.
• We do not store message content or track chat histories.
• We do not collect personal identifiable information (PII) such as real names, email addresses, or payment information.

3. How Data Is Used

Processed data is used solely for the purpose of executing requested slash commands (fetching queue times from deadbyqueue.com) and returning formatted embeds to your Discord channel.

4. Third-Party Services

The Bot fetches publicly available queue duration estimates from deadbyqueue.com. No Discord user data is transmitted to deadbyqueue.com during these requests.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Because no user data or command history is permanently stored in a database, there is no stored personal data to retain or delete. All interaction tokens expire automatically per Discord's standard API rules.

By inviting or using the Dead by Queue Discord Bot ("the Bot") in your Discord server, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Bot in compliance with all applicable laws and Discord's Developer Terms of Service. You agree NOT to:

• Attempt to overload, spam, or flood the Bot with automated commands.
• Reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the Bot's infrastructure or connected endpoints.
• Use the Bot for malicious, fraudulent, or unlawful purposes.

2. Service Availability & Disclaimers

• "As-Is" Service: The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
• Data Accuracy: Queue duration estimates are fetched directly from third-party sources. We do not guarantee the real-time accuracy or availability of queue data.
• Downtime: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Bot (or any part thereof) at any time without prior notice.

3. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developer of the Bot be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Bot.

4. Termination

We reserve the right to block individual Discord servers or users from accessing the Bot if these Terms of Service are violated.

5. Updates to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Bot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
